The 2020 Most Maine Thing EVAH! Competition (hereinafter called the “Bracket,”) will begin at 10:00am Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

To be eligible for the Grand Prize, users must complete and submit their Bracket predictions at https://challonge.com/mainememes before 10:00am Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. No Bracket predictions will be accepted after voting starts and the Competition begins. No purchase is necessary to play the game or win the Grand Prize.

Starting on February 19, a poll question will be posted to Maine Memes social media channels between 10:00am and 12:00pm Eastern Time with the day’s matchup. Voting will take place exclusively on the poll posted at https://facebook.com/MaineMemes. Votes, submissions, messages or comments in any other form will not be counted as votes toward the matchup result.

Polling will close exactly 24 hours after the poll question is posted, and the results will determine which Bracket entry advances to the next round of the Bracket.

The Grand Prize for the Bracket will be announced on or before February 19, 2020.

After the conclusion of the Bracket Competition, the user with the most matchup points based on the submitted predictions will win the Grand Prize. In the case of multiple users with an equal amount of matchup points, Maine Memes contest administrators reserve the right to split the Grand Prize equally among users, or award the Grand Prize to the user who submitted a winning bracket first. Maine Memes content administrators will award any prizes associated with the Bracket in their sole discretion.

Bracket winner(s) will be contacted via the email address submitted with their Bracket predictions at https://challonge.com/mainememes.

If Maine Memes editors or contest administrators believe that polling results have been compromised or otherwise subjected to unfair voting practices, they reserve the right to change or alter the winners or vote totals of any matchup in the Bracket, and will announce that decision on Maine Memes social media channels. Maine Memes reserves the right to disqualify any user at any time and for any reason, or to cancel the contest altogether for any reason.

Maine Memes is not responsible for a lost or stolen prize, the cancellation of the Bracket contest, or failure of winners to respond to winning prize notifications. These rules may be modified at any time and for any reason.

The Bracket Contest is open to all residents of the state of Maine 18 years of age or older.
